CANAL WALK OUTPERFORMS SA'S SUPER-REGIONAL SHOPPING CENTRE BENCHMARKS

Canal Walk shopping centre remains one of the most sought-after business locations – for both retail and offices - in South Africa.

Its existing 250m² store will be converted into a Factorie brand store to compliment the flagship Cotton On and Typo stores in the mall. Renowned for its fashion essentials and affordable prices, the brand has been welcomed with open arms in South Africa and is firmly cementing itself in the hearts of fashionistas across the country.

Canal Walk has also attracted a superstar line-up of new retailers this year. New shops include Superga, Steve Madden, Fielli, Typo, Entrepo, H.O.M, Hugo Boss, Boardriders and XOXO.

Canal Walk Shopping Centre is Africa's leading super-regional retail mall, it is the jewel in the crown of JSE listed property heavyweight Hyprop Investments Limited’s portfolio (80%) which it co-owns with Ellerine Bros (Pty) Ltd (20%).
