Sustainability is a common denominator throughout Hyprop’s business. We are committed to continuously improving our operations to reduce an already low environmental impact, maintaining our role as a responsible corporate citizen in preserving environmental resources, making a positive impact on the wider community and encouraging our tenants, customers and suppliers to do the same while enhancing the workplace for our tenants and employees.
Appropriate strategies are in place throughout the group with executive responsibility for implementation.
During the year, Hyprop enhanced its sustainability strategy by articulating the group’s strategic priorities from an economic, social, environmental and governance perspective. We conducted comprehensive stakeholder engagement, which included investors, management, employees, tenants, suppliers and financiers. This engagement explored the concepts of sustainability, materiality, strategy and integrated risk management as they relate to the corporate values and decision-making philosophy of the company.
